1.
Skater
must be Westland Figure Skating Club member. (General $10 Ice Show Member or
USFSA: Westland Figure Skating Club member at or before tryouts).
2.
You
must be registered and skate for a minimum of 1 (ONE) hour of Freestyle per
week for at least 2 (TWO) of the three skating sessions at
Westland. Hours skated on a team do not
count.
3.
BY THE DAY OF TRYOUTS - You must have passed ISI Freestyle 4 and/or must be competing USFSA
pre-preliminary or higher.
4.
If
you make opening number it will count as one of your ice show numbers. This means if you register for one number in
the show and make opening number then opening number will be the only number
you will be in for the show. If you
want to skate opening plus one additional group number then you will need to
register for two numbers.
5.
Trying
out does not guarantee that you will make opening number
6.
Parents
will not be allowed to watch tryouts.
7.
You
must exercise good sportsmanship.
8.
Any
skater who is placed in an opening number is expected to cooperate and get
along with the other skaters.
9. If a skater does not meet
these requirements or fails to continue to meet these requirements, they can be
removed from opening number.
10. NOTE: There is a possibility that opening number(s) will cost more
then a regular group number. Opening
numbers typically have more skaters in them and are longer in length then
normal group numbers, which may require more practice time then normal
groups. This fee will not exceed $20
and we will try all efforts to avoid additional costs.

WILL BE A $10 CHARGE PER SKATER FOR THE ICE RENTAL FEE!!!!
